I love the trees Mea, you are becoming quite the artist.    i think that the bush on the bottom left corner should be a bit darker but brighter as it is closer to us unless it is a beach.  You may want to put some lines in your tree shawdows at an horizontal.
All in all it is beautifull.

Mea!  Your trees are very well done.  Practicing as you do, is making a huge impact on your art.  I need to follow your lead.

Jill, thanks.  Yes, I think the studying/practicing is going to make a big difference.

Danielle, thanks.  No, no bush in the bottom left corner, it's supposed to be just dirt around the edge of the pond.  Guess I did not make it convincing.

I appreciate your input.

Thanks, Nolan.  Ok - light lights and dark darks.  May try the first one again.

Here is my first lot of trees.  :yippee: Loved doing them feel really happy with them although my last one (smaller one in middle) not quite as good as the others. I do think I did the one on the right too big for the size of the mountains and painting but of well live and learn  ;D As always any suggestions much appreciated, ops just realised I haven't put the shadow in for the smaller one,  off to do that now then foregrounds  :yippee: :yippee:

Aroha! Lisa :-)

The little guy in the middle is just that....little!  ;D   Just wait, in 50 years or so he'll be as big as the rest....sort of....    Going beautifully, looking forward to seeing the next step.

Lisa the trees in the foreground have to be big otherwise the perspective wouldn't look right O0
