Well, I have your Vermeer tut to thank a lot for this... I also checked out Ben Lustenhouver on YouTube, whose technique I really admire to pick up a few tips but I guess it's mostly a mix of the Acrylic Technique and what I have taught myself in oils over the years but yes.. I was terrified of portraits til 2 weeks ago! =D

I have attempted one or two digitally with Corel Painter before but was never too impressed with those results... Assuming I don't mess this up.. I'm chuffed with it so far!

Uniformity!

Here's another one I have going that I started earlier this year.. I set it aside til I felt a bit more confident with what I wanted to do with the figures by way of modeling and detailing (so tips and suggestions would be more than welcome) There's a bit going on here... Van Gogh, Dali, Cezanne, Miro and even Banksy. I wanted to see how I could somehow tie them together...

Now is the winter of our Discount Tent,,,, Just be sure to observe Social Distancing Measures if you plan to buy one or share one with others

Intriguing.  I think it was very successful.
The time it (a work) takes is the time it takes.

Thanks all for the positive feedback,,, Maybe I'll settle for just  a bit of work on these figures then and perhaps adding some detialing to the building to out right with the Banksy!
