Lovely work, Jill.   All the different rocks and bricks are so well down.

Robin,

Wow, lots of good work here.  So many lines so nicely executed.

Two things caught my eye (and it may just be the way the painting was photographed);
1. On the cobblestone wall to the right, the top layer of stones seems to be tipping forward.  Not sure if darkening the front top part of each stone would help.

2. The triangular gabled window on the roof also has an angle tipping forward.

Otherwise, it is very well done.  Trees and shrubs look good.  Love the curtain in the living room window.

Robin,

Yes, looks better now.

I was so caught up in the tipping stones that I see now what Dennis meant with the tree highlights.  I think if you took a stippling brush or just the side of a bristle brush and dropped some lighter highlights on to the top and left side of the trees, you'd see a big difference.

Otherwise, it looks great.

I did Mea, I even used almost straight yellow.  If you think it needs more I will add it

Robin,

Maybe even some white on top of the yellow at the very top.  Nolan just did that on an oil I am working on - makes a difference.
