I just popped in for a second look at these paintings. They are lovely. With these and the winter scene ones, I'm so impressed with water colour artists.

I did get splatter around the room-painting along with Dennis does not afford the luxury of time to be neat! Fortunately it is water colour so the cleanup is not bad-now the oil splatter cleanup with Nolan is another thing.

Oil splatter definately takes a bit more cleanup. On the other hand your wonderful oil paintings more than make up for that 'minor' inconvenience, say what?

Beautiful colouring Harald.
I like the fewer leaves look. Having problems with expanding photos, but your shadings and shadows look good from what I can see. One of your best.

My advice, Harald, is to hang it in a visible, highly trafficked area of your home and when people come in, smile coyly and say, "oh, it's just a little Matisse original I picked up at an auction!" Great job...I LOVE IT!
