ACRYLIC PAINTS: For my last two semi-abstract paintings I have had the need to blend consistently. I am also now doing a portrait that requires glazing to get the fine blends. My continual problem is that the paint lifts off the canvas when over-painted. I have swapped from Atelier to Matisse paints in the hope of improvement. The Matisse are definitely less prone to lifting, but it still happens. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks

:welcome: to Paintbasket, grebarri!  You're in the right place to get answers re your  :painting:

You might be interested in the free live webinar Nolan will run in just a few hours.  You can find information on it and book the class if you click on the blue TV screen at the top of the page.

Nolan started a thread for us to post questions in advance.  Just go to http://www.paintbasket.com/members/index.php/topic,2247.msg31544/topicseen.html#new

Otherwise, I'm sure someone will come along here and respond to your question.

I hope to see more of you in this friendly community and I'd love to see some of your paintings, so don't be bashful, go ahead and show us what you're doing.  That's a great way to learn.

Happy  :painting:

Thank you for your reply. I live in Western Australia and while you will be providing a wonderfully informative class (I just looked at the overview) I will be fast asleep! Will this webinar be available for later viewing?
