Water is just plain hard.
Yep, it sure is! And it looks so easy just lying there. . . .   :2funny: You have done a good job on this one Red, I think you are gonna' conquer the waterfalls. . . .  all of them! Easy -peasy

THanks everyone for the generous comments.  I am learning alot.  If I can just get the waterfalls and water reflections down, then I feel I can maybe put together halfway decent landscapes.  Then it will be on to trying my hand at portraits which scares me to death.

Thanks everyone for your comments.  They are greatly appreciated.  I still see lots of things I could do better.  Why is it that the things that look the easiest are always deceiving.  It must be some sort of law.
Anyway, I tried another waterfall from a pic I found somewhere on the net.  Let me know what you think.  I wasn't sure if I should post it here or start a new post.

  Red1, Another fantastic painting!!!  I just love the way you have captured the rushing waters.  I must really take a look at how you did it for that is something that I have battled with.  Good for you, you are putting out some beautiful work.  Patricia

Red you painting is good. the only thing I think, is where that patch of rocks just at the top of the fall looks like it is tilted. It looks like it is getting ready to go over the fall. But then maybe it is just me sitting crooked.  :2funny: :2funny: good job  O0

NHC50, you are right.  I'm not even sure why I put that rock there.  I will try and remove it on the original.
