Denise...very well done!  :yippee:  I love the colouring in your falls. Gives a tiny bit of translucency to the water. You've done a banner job here. Great earth tones on your rocks.  O0
So....what is it you don't like again?  :knuppel2:

he he, oh thanks Val. I guess I create tunnel vision for myself when painting something that is difficult - I end up seeing something that's just not good enough and focusing in on the worst. Had a good nights sleep so will look at again through different/more positive eyes :) Thank you Val.... :) enjoy your weekend

Oh what a gorgeous color. Just pops from the thumbnail. And you did put traces of it in the other water. It's good girl!

Dennis, thank you for your comment, my eyes are actually welling up with tears right now (no, don't worry, not the sobbing kind -- just very touched  ). I've been working on "renewing my mind" in many areas. I tend to be so critical of myself... I am learning so much more than painting from you and the wonderful Paint Basket gang. Thank you. :smitten:

:thankyou: Sarah :thankyou: you are such an encourager!

Patricia, so glad you like the colors, sometimes I wonder if I get a little heavy handed with the paints! I so appreciate your feedback :)

Hey classmate, just saw your post and your waterfalls!  Denise, it looks like rushing water!  O0 Your boulders look like boulders and you did a wonderful job and this wasn't easy! I really like it. :smitten:   I also like how your boulders on the bottom are not like ducks in a row....which mine turned into..    Really well done, be proud.....see you for waterfalls #3! Oh my!

:thankyou: Val and Dianne for your comments.  I appreciate them.

My waterfalls lesson #2.  Took me awhile to paint it.  Water is just plain hard.

Red, this is great!! The water and rocks of your main falls are really well done, the water is flowing so naturally against the rocks...
