I just finished painting a blue jay from a photo and used 130lb. watercolor paper for my surface.  I was pleased with the results.  Hope you enjoy it.   :)

I like what you've done with the shading and how you softened the background flowers.  Great job on the composition and colours.  Very big   :bigwelcome: to PaintBasket, Pooldot.
