Here is my paintalong./ It was sooo.. much easier with the photo, very relaxed and easy to keep up. Thank-you Dennis for listening to us about the photo reference. It makes a BIG difference. Sorry the colour isn't quite what I like it to be in my photos as the day is late and the flash came on. (had to go out to do some chores before posting). All the paintings look good, and it was an enjoyable lesson. I am anxious to use the knowledge in Hawaii, where we vacation and there are all manner of hibiscus.

Gail & Karen:
Nice!
Gail, love the background!
Karen, what a wonderful variation, You got TALENT , girl
Thank you all for the positive feedback.
I am sorry that I do not have time at present to keep up with the form, today was the 1 st day in two weeks to pick up a brush,..I am very grateful that Dennis has brought me along to the point that I
can
"scamper along behind"
I am afraid that with out that growth, I would be hard pressed to get any painting done at present.
AND that growth
could not
have been as much as it has without
all of you
I am looking forward to being able to be back with you all on a regular bases
Regards

Thank you all for the nice comments.
Gail, I like the strength of your colours and contrasts.
Harald, Im sorry i mentioned your painting which wasn't there - maybe later? I got carried away with using the arrow buttons on the images to see each painting one after the other - it's a gret way to look at them - only thing is, it's not always quite clear whose picture you are looking at.

Gail, nice work on your flower as well. I like the leaves too.

Well here is my paint along. Still having problems with backgrounds. They just don't flow right. Can't figure what I am doing wrong. And Dennis I know it is not about the background.
Oh well Just keep working on it.
