Lovely hibiscus, Kathy.  yes, great job on the petal blending.

The center around the three bottom petals seems to blend all into itself.  Maybe a slight change in each tonal value will make the three petals distinct as they reach the center.

Nice background, too.

Mea;  I lightened the edges of the bottom three petals. There is very little difference in the one Dennis did also. The camera does not show this very well. Kathy

   Here is another hibiscus flower that I painted.    I really like these flowers.  I have a bush in my backyard that I can see all summer. Kathy

Beautiful hibiscus, Kathy!  That's the state flower of Hawaii.

Like the leaves and background, too.

The colors look so beautiful together - vibrant.

This painting is alive with excitement.
