They're in the same position, Nolan, as the tutorial and the little guy is the spotted white one.

Nolan - I decided I should try and be a big girl and see if I could capture it based on what you've taught but I'm afraid I've gone awry...I'm sorry for the blurry pic but it was the best I could do with my current lighting not to mention I obviously don't know how to work my camera!  I just wanted to give you a close up of the fish because that's where I'm having trouble.  Thank you.

Rita - thanks so much...I usually have no problem taking photos during the day but today for some reason, I just couldn't get the camera to do what I wanted it to do which probably means I pressed some setting that I don't know how to get out of...lol.  From what I see of your work?  I think you'll be doing this FAR sooner than later...you really do beautiful work.   :thankyou: again!

Thanks so much, Nina.  You are so sweet to say so.  I'm hoping for a better picture once the water is over it.  Maybe by then I'll figure out my camera!  Thanks again... :) :)

Mary!  This is a work IN PROGRESS???

Looks to me it's already a masterpiece!

Lillian!  Oh my gosh...thank you with a great big  :1hug:.  Yes, I did it all in oils so still in progress but now I have to wait to put the water over it.  It's so interesting to see how much more quickly they're drying these days...first time in my life I ever thought about weather and painting...it really DOES make a difference.  You are so generous and kind with your assessment - you KNOW what mine is but I'm trying to behave!  Thank you so much again.  Can't wait to hear more about your class!  :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers:

I have finally finished this - it's been very hard to get organised to paint but finally I managed it. The replay keeps freezing on me and I have been using some very unladylike words.

Mary, your white fish is looking great. I can't see enough of the orange fish to judge but it looks like it's coming on O K too. Like you, I'm adjusting to  'weather'. I've got air conditioning on and my paint are getting sticky too fast - but we live and learn!
