The first fish is looking great Maryna. I like your three fish arrangement - it's going to be a great variation on Nolan's theme.

Very pretty Karen.  This is a lovely subject matter, and I look forward to doing one once I get back to my oils.

Karen - thank you so much...ya, that poor little guy is pretty blurry and he's just screaming at me to "fiddle" with him.  So far, resisting temptation!  I've done something horrific to an already injured knee so I couldn't take the photo outdoors or find somewhere with better lighting in here as it was sunset and in that in-between light before evening when I took it.  I hope to have a better one when I'm finished.  Yours, on the other hand, IS a masterpiece...I think it's just beautiful and I can only hope mine will look half that good.  Wow!!!  Thank you again and for the inspiration as well.  :)

Mary--I haven't seen this class but I will tell you that your painting looks AWESOME.  I don't see anything to correct.  Can't wait to see the water you put in.  The fish look so very real.  Love it

Looks great to me as well Mary
What you generally want to do is darken the fins towards the body to show they tuck in there and the body is casting a shadow on them, so your's is spot on O0
