In 2010 my wife and I took a holiday in Los Cabos, Mexico. As our hotel was on the east side of the peninsula so sunsets were uninspiring. I decided to see if I could at least get a nice picture of the beach colours about twilight. The beach was empty except for a young couple enjoying each other more than the scenery. I was able to capture their embrace.
I don't think this is the best picture I have painted, but it is my favorite.
Just an old romantic
Alan

I like it, Alan!  You did very well painting that couple.   :congrats:

often it isn't always about the best painting, as long as the painting connects with the viewer on a personal level, like this one does, you have a winner O0

:'(  Oh you silly old romantic you!   ;D  You've done a great job of capturing the essence of the scene.
I hope I'm always referred to as 'that silly old romantic'.  There is so much romanticism in life, one just has to open ones eyes and see it.   :smitten:
