I don't think it's a mess at all ... the foreground dune and grasses are interesting and the far dune looks good ... okay maybe the sea could do with a little fixing but I think it's great for a paint along. Well done Lynn

Hi Art8
It takes Nolan a little while to edit the live class and put the link up - usually within a day or two and the pdf is available soon after. There is usually an email sent out to let us know when they are available for viewing. HTH

Lynn I think you did a great job, being your first paint along. Nothing is hard to fix.

Your painting looks very nice to me, Lynn.
I missed the class today, busy day. I'm really looking forward to the replay. This is a beautiful composition. I love the colors.

certainly not a mess at all, I think you did a great job, especially considering I was painting very fast to get the painting complete in the allotted time.
Let the painting dry and then you can come back and fiddle with the one or two things you are not happy with - or even better - send it to Pat, he will fiddle with it for you until it's perfect

Absolutely great.
I tried to paint along as well. It was not that successful. I`ll use your picture as model for corrections.

You All are so very generous and kind! I do feel it's pretty bad. Nolan, that was funny (we love you Pat). Good idea to let it dry and redo areas. So how DO you mix cerulean if you have none? I tried pthalo blue plus white and dulled down with orange but it was not there.
to everyone . I have to say that you hone your skills with this paint a long thing, if it doesn't drive you to drink!

Cerulean has a bias towards green so I would use Phthalo blue G.S. plus c. 8 x zinc white plus a speck of magenta to dull.
Golden uses the recipe of 80 parts zinc white : 10 parts phthalo blue GS : 1 part Quinacridone Magenta
