The photo is breathtaking, Dennis!
I'm really looking forward to the class and to painting this one, well, in fact, getting caught up with your lessons.
But when???
Those replays are priceless! Last evening I backed up all my documents, so they are safely kept.

Wise move
So often we forget to back-up and we end up crying over spilled milk.
Yes, the area of Queenstown in the South Island is a photographer's and tourist's paradise. We spent a fabulous couple of days there a short while ago. We want to go there again next year when the lupins are in bloom - that's a feast for sore eyes - and take many photographs and video.

Dennis, I am looking forward to trying to do better on this lesson. Mainly by being better prepared before the lesson starts; and hopefully a better connections.
Re:backup..I am keeping a zippered notebook of my pdf file copies for each lesson I ordered..Thus I have no excuese for not doing them..Being a procrastinator is not fun and certainly does not further my learning.. Thanks for being there anyway..You make the lessons seem so easy and have so much fun.. It makes me keep trying.

Sharon, Thanks for the kind words. Art is always fun for me and its my life and my passion to teach others and to help as many as I can along the path to quality work. I also still have a lot to learn and I pass on on what I know.
All you have to do is to do your best at that moment of time and the rest will surely follow. Enjoy the

These paint-alongs should come with a warning! Hazardous to your thought processes!
I have to hand it to you guys that keep the pace,
I'll see what I can do to finish this....or...I may just go get that other one out of the UFO file!

Brian, I'll bet you dollars to donuts my cauliflower is bigger than yours! That's how you can tell it's a 'Val' original... every one has a signature cauliflower!
Great job. Just to give you guys a real chuckle, I'm going to post where I finished in class. Don't take a mouth full of your supper before you look....
I'll go take the photo.

My contribution this time is painted on streched canvas. Bought a few "Fresh art & craft" watercolour canvas just to try it out. It behaves almoust like the canvas I grouded with Daniel Smith`s primer for watercolour.
