Hi, Val  - are you still under cover or breathing fresh air again? I like your painting. Happy atmosphere there despite the quite dramatic sky. Just wonderful. Okay, it doesn't look so bright in your real painting and it is dead annoying if computers and cameras and all this technical stuff do this to us  :tickedoff: but it didn't harm your picture.

Harald - absolutely fabulous water and sky. Hach, how I love the sea.... :smitten:

Well Lynn, those are 'supposed' to be poles which mark the net and hold the floats. I used the wrong brush with the masking fluid and the poles and antennas all came out much too big. So...they may well be folded umbrellas...maybe these guys do day charters!  :heeha:

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. There's still time to get a few more in....... paintings I mean  ;D but comments are always welcome
Cheers, Val

Well done Val and Harald! I won't even ask about those stormy skies.  Everybody has done so well. If we had voted on one of Alan's prairie sentinels, I might have dared, but my life is so far away from anything vaguely resembling 'boat' or 'water' that I feel a little stymied!

Great job Val and Harald!! Val, i see nothing wrong with your painting, great dramatic sky and i like the strong and vibrant colours of your boat, those little red spots just catching the eye. I really like the contrast between sky and water, just as if the sun is lighting the water just after or short before the storm.
Harald, i just love the sparkles in your water and the nice colours. I like the adjustments from the surfers? at your painting.
Well done, and voting get more difficult by the day, but what a great challenge.

:surrender:  Ok I'll tell Lloyd he can quit beating on me. I will grudgingly agree it is an 'ok' painting. Thanks guys.
