I think this is the best painting I have ever done, so far, I really like the lay out, there is a fault with the ewes head, again heads driving me nuts, but on the whole I am happy with it and might give it to some friends as they did me a favour a couple of months back, and I have wanted to paint them something but always something goes wrong lol.

The skys good, the distant hill and snow covered mountain are ok too, forest is good, i love the colours and layers I put in to get it, and yes in the picture I was using there was a few green tree left so i just thpught i would make the couple of green trees prominient. The stone work is different, In the picture it went grass/moss then stone the stone upto the memorial stone, so I thought of breaking up those bands by putting the grass band in the middle.

Hope you like it, and I hope you google Tarn Hows Lake District England, I am sure you will find the pic I was using and others of this beautiful, wonderfull place not too far from where I live.
