Bhavna, my heart truly goes out to you and all the many, many others who are dealing with the aftermath of Sandy.  I hope you can at least keep warm and dry.  Please let us know how things are going for you.

Great effects in the foreground water, the wave and spray look great. I think between my purple sky and too green wave, I'd best start again.  ::)

OK.... now I'm having second thoughts, I was going to post mine...this is what I have so far. Funny you mentioned chinese gray Natalie...I finally made a really weak gray colour and it seems to show a bit better than the white did. This photo shows the water as much more blue than mine. Can't hide that purple sky though!  ;D

Val your waves look amazing!  I guess you could glaze some blue over your purple sky-but I don't think it is distracting.

natalie you can come out the corner now  :)   your waves and sea look great dont see nothing wrong with them  O0   val dont worry about your sky your waves look really good, when you finish it, it will look fantastic  O0
