Gosh Zac, Both lovely pictures but being an animal lover, I like the one of the Black Panther.  Patricia

I thought I'd suggest the most popular (by views) image from my last photography tour:

The Creek
The Creek

I think it would make a good painting. Choose your own animal to be drinking from the creek...

Wink, wink, wink.

I live to draw and paint, it a good thing that I don't have to draw and paint to live!

Patricia, why do the rocks worry you? Were they making rude, threatening or obnoxious remarks?  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

Zac, the images you post your images or copyright free from the internet? If they are from the internet can you indicate where from so we can get them at full res please?

Actualy, all those pictures are from the sample pictures on my laptop except for the panther; but honestly I cant remember where I got that panther picture from, I think I might have gotten it from some random person off of Google images or something. There in my reference picture album.  If you right click on the picture in my post, you should be able to copy the image.

Mmmmmm,

That was my concern Zac. If you look on the Forum I have posted a separate thread asking Nolan and Dennis about photo attribution.

If you don't know where they came from, we can't know either, so none of us know the legalities of using the images for paintings to either be sold or given away.

Not saying you were doing anything wrong intentionally, just that there are legal issues of using copyrighted material for distribution.

As to the copying, I know that, but from what I recall, Nolan's software compresses the images to save disk space and it would be better if we could have access to the original at full resolution. And if the original site is known, then publishing it would allow everyone to grab the image at full res.

Alright,  good thing I didnt draw and sell any of those pictures because I would of been screwed if the person who would of bought the drawing would have been the guy or gal that took the pictrues.

Potentially Zac, potentially. And I'd prefer not to fiddle with potential, possible or probable if I could deal with definite.
