 8)   Very interesting landmark.

Trattoria Sempione:  This was taken in Venice, Italy from the canal in September 2012.
The exposure needs a little adjusting... sorry.. had a problem with this photo.
To clarify the origin of this picture... It is a photo I took myself.... with my permission for everyone to use for painting.

Venice is gorgeous.  Beware the pigeons in St. Mark's Square as they see people as 'targets'.

About three years ago a guy wake boarded through the square when the water was over four feet deep there.  You can find the video on the 'net.

Yes, stoney, we enjoyed Venice... took this picture from the gondola ride we took. Thankfully,  although there were lots of pigeons, we had no problem with the bombings; and the water was down also. :2funny:

:2funny:        :2funny:      I meant "our" house....not the outhouse!!!

[fake aghast] You mean you don't live in the outhouse?  :D

My mom and I were going through old photos yesterday and came across this one. She took it somewhere in California. Sorry the quality of the photo is poor as it's a photo of the photo :( . Hopefully good enough as just a reference though... :)

Nice pics, all!  I wonder if I will still be painting on my January challenge in February?  I'm still hoping to finish it.. still on a mission for the stained glass sidelight.  The kids will be home one Wednesday, and I still have a lot to do! :'(
