On my color wheel, the color I THINK is Raw Umber, is veridian and orange?  I've been playing with the colors and can't quite find the right shade.  Any help would be great.
Thanks

I found this on Wet Canvas from one of the members.  I think from what I've read, thouogh, it depends on the brands of paints.

I mix my own! ;-)

Burnt sienna, and phthalo blue, or cobalt blue, or ultramarine blue, depending of the temperature, and granulation I want.

Hope this helps, bella.  I haven't tried this..so I have no idea if it works.

Thanks, Dianne.  I didn't have raw umber...I have burnt n umber, but was looking for the reddish color Dennis had in the Hair lesson.  I still don't have 'red' or auburn look.  Hmmmmm.   Must be the paints.
