I love my rooster - I think the mask looks like that guy from Silence of the Lambs and the stained glass, well it was fun to do!  Thanks for the chance to get away from the structure for a bit, Dennis!

You must try this, Danielle - it was a fun lesson and taught me to try to not be so rigid (which I still fight inside myself while painting! Guess I should take this class again!)

Here is my semi abstract,  the tree of life.   I masked the tree, then spotted it, then laired different colours and let it drip with  added salt. Removed masking and made my tree purple.    That was liberating.

Good for you!  It's really quite well done.  I love the way your colors flow into each other.

Reminds me of our Batman - I miss his Nature Series.
