Red1, I don't know how the alcohol was supposed to work, but looks like your colors worked. Looks good to me!

Awesome, Nina! What I find interesting is that every time I start seeing something, I suddenly start seeing something else! Really gets the eyes and the imagination moving - well done!

Jennylynn Natalie, harald and Red1 - I love the colour in all of these postings. It's very hard not to see things in them and leave them alone and I couldn't resist it. In one of these the flowers just leaped out and shouted. I have to take the green out of the top left corner but i don't know why - it's bothering me.
I had more self control with my cling wrap one.

I like the green in the left corner. It looks like it belongs with the flower bouquet. It's kind of like my red blob in the middle of my painting. I was going to try and remove it but couldn't figure out how without messing everything else up.

Nina,
I think you've nailed the concept of "Abstract" perfectly!
There's lots of 10 minutes in a day, you could make a fortune.

Harald and Red,
Same as with Nina, I have seen stuff like that in doctor's waiting rooms. Abstract and obviously purchased...

Karen, a great explosion of colour.
Only thing is I think it possibly leans more towards the "semi-abstract" of the last lesson, but great brighness none the less.
And who would know except when you put into the context of the lesson.
It's something I could see putting on my wall.

Harald,
Glad I don't smoke any happy herbs. This one could really mess with the mind!
Nice work
