  hi all this is emily's rose done in watercolour pencil ,  any comments appreciated.

I really enjoy looking at other's art.  It inspires me!!!  I think your picture is beautiful.....but if I may critique...it would be to put more white or light into you painting so it pops the flower...you may be amazed on how white will bring it out more....but I think it is a beautiful piece and Thank you for sharing

I do agree with Lynda though, and I just learned this little trick from Nolan inthe Let's Draw class, leave little white spaces. . . . otherwise, magic!!
I live to draw and paint, it a good thing that I don't have to draw and paint to live!

just thought that i would clarify that emily is liz's grand-daughter i think she is only about 11, that's why i think that for that age her work is encredibly good, what do you all think?

 :thankyou: Thanks again Aunty Jennylynn for posting another one of my artwork.  Thanks to everyone who commented on my rose.  This rose was one of my first watercolor pencil paintings.  I am going to practice with watercolor pencils some more. :painting:
