I have been invited to attend a juried art show/competition! It's called 'The Art Project' to be held at Exhibition Place in Toronto. No art from me  ;D   but have never been to this type of event, so should be interesting.
Unfortunately it means I will miss today's class, which I have never willingly missed.  :heeha:   Actually I wasn't going to go as my 'comfy' painter jeans were dirty...so Jane bought me a pair. So I guess that means I'm committed!  :D
So Dennis....I guess this means you don't have to go at 1/3 speed....you can go at 1/2 speed!  >:D  (sorry guys)  ;D

Cheers, Val

Have fun Val. Don't feel bad I will not be in class today either. So everyone else will have fun without our witty personality.  :2funny: :2funny:

Awwwww. I may not bring my witty personality, but you can teach me how to paint today Dennis. Have fun, Val!!  Next time they can expect art from you. Right???  :knuppel2: So sis bought you the new jeans. When are you buying sis that shiny new clear plastic ruler we heard about? I believe there was to be a perspective house involved?

I should have passed the invitation. Most disappointed. AND only one fellow that used w/c-acrylics.
Dennis and Nolan, you may pride yourselves in knowing that any one of your students would have showed up 90% of the 'artworks' there.
Then I wake to see this! My faith is restored!      Dennis, I knew you would not be alone in class...even if no one else turned up...you could still teach Nolan a thing or two.   I feel he really needs to work on his w/c...after all, haven't seen nary a one since his cosmos!  >:D
Sarah...I am going to buy that ruler...the one I bought down in Guatemala...made in Mexico and boy do they use some weird markings!  :D
Cheers, Val
