Dennis and Nolan, thank you for chosing my Lily for the replay contest!! It was so unexpected :o  what fun though! :D
Paint Basket is such a happy part of my life and a little win like this makes me even happier :yippee: . I was struggling to find the heading to put this under but chose "Motivation" because this win has certainly given me that! I appreciate you creating this contest for us newbies out there still learning from your wonderful lessons.
Thank you for the care, attention and generosity you provide on Paint Basket!!!  Now, off to figure out how to spend by winnings ;) .....

Musika, here's a cut and paste of last weeks newsletter announcing the "replay challenge"...
The Buzz
Last week we made the announcement for the oil challenge - to paint any painting from the previous oil lessons. We are happy to announce that our winner is Corine with her go at the Rose. As the winner she will get $14 credit. Congrats! We encourage everyone to post those completed paintings. Here is the winning painting. You can view a close up HERE.

This challenge was great fun so we have decided to extend it for another week, but this time, we will give out two $14 prizes - one for the best watercolour painting and another for the best oil / acrylic painting. The paintings must be done from one of the class replays and posted on the forum. Good luck and have fun!

See what I missed by having a life outside pb!  I didn't know about this either.  Of course I probably wouldn't finish a painting in time... but it's fun to watch......hmm.. and I read the news letter too.... maybe just skimmed over it!
Congrats  Corine and Denise!!

Dennis, I agree, you can't go wrong with Biblical principles as it is our manual for daily living.  Patricia
