Here's one that might work. Took me awhile, I had to straighten the horizon. I couldn't get it any closer to rule of thirds. But you guys are pencil artists, right?
Oops! Forgot. My photo, taken on Lake Superior.

Here is a lovely shot of the beautiful Annapolis Valley. . . . part of it anyway. . . the part where I live.
It's the only landscape picture I have.

Oh forgot to mention. . . great photo Sarah!
I live to draw and paint, it a good thing that I don't have to draw and paint to live!

They were all taken in parts of the Annapolis Valley, and one is my back yard, but I'll let you try & guess which one it  is!! :2funny: :heeha:

Hi Artgauna. . . . .  :bigwelcome: to the Paint Basket family. . . I don't think we have met before! You will like it here, there are great teachers and lots of kind people who will help you if you have a problem along the way!

Do you have any photographs of landscapes? Pictures of fields, trees, that sort of thing? If you do, we would love to have you add you pictures to the ones already here. Mine are not very good, so perhaps you have some better pictures!! ;D

My second possibility. Wish it had more shadows, but alas no sun. It is my photo.

This is Glendalough in Co. Wicklow, Ireland. It is an old, old monastery established by St. Kevin.

Thank you. . . we can pretend the sun is there and make our own shadows.
