Beautiful, Nina! The background detail has definitely added and not detracted from the butterflies because their colors are so intense. Your yellow is quite pleasing in combination with the orange. What colors did you use?

My laptop lost the signal while I was on a trip I could not stay logged in. I need to catch the replay.  This is one I wanted to see badly!

Sarah thank you for ALWAYS coming to the rescue.

   wShortstuff, your butterflies are lovely. My only comment would be that the orange butterfly should be lightened as it is lost on the plant but otherwise, I think it is charming.  Good job.  Patricia

:twothumbs:  for everybody you ALL did fantastic butterflies!!
Here is my second attempt, minus the cat tracks . . . .  :2funny:
Made a few mistakes and a couple of times my brush took off on it's own!! But otherwise, I'm not too unhappy with this one.
I live to draw and paint, it a good thing that I don't have to draw and paint to live!

Yup, Roxy. There it is!!! Nice darks. Like the color. And the purple in the flower provides great contrast. That's a keeper. :smitten:
