Nina, Jennylynn, Shortstuff, Sarah, Roxy and Pegi all your butterflies are wonderful.

It is so amazing to see all the different interpretations of the subject! Pegi I like your idea of the background. It looks like all the butterflies are there gathered in a small area of gras and plants.  :flowers:

I did mine with the sky as background and to me it looks as if the butterflies were a bit too big.

This is my second attempt...

P.S. I am sorry for flooding the forum with all my old drawings and paintings, but all the pictures in my albums got lost and I wanted to re-load them...

You've done some wonderful things with your butterfly painting, Martina. The orange bf pops against the purple flower. And I love the yellow work in both the large and small bf. Perfect! The deeper green bg also offsets the darkness of the darks well. Congratulations!

Very well done Bhavna  O0

I can see I will have to start over. All the 'fixing' in the world isn't helping this one!  :2funny: I will have to make sure I shut my artisticat out in the hall from now on....what's a few claw marks in the door?
