Here is my first attempt at doing the challenge. It was fun, but made me realize that I have a long way to go in learning how to handle watercolor. :)

Oh my!!! You did a beautiful job!!!!! The first step to learning to handle watercolor is to acknowledge that the watercolor is in charge. :2funny:  The trees are gorgeous. I have a sense that there are as many branches coming toward me as out to the sides! Well done.

Those are all great paintings! I may have to give this one a try, but doubt I will make it by the end of the month, but its a beautiful image.  :painting:

Karen and Scribe you done it very nice :yippee:,i like the colours and the mountains with the snow,
i had a litle problem with snow and the trees so on my painting i changed them
acording to all discation next time i will be more correct with referrence picture,sorry
for sure Val put the instraction under referrence picture to remaind everybody the idea of the competition,
but i like all the paintings posted here untill know :painting:

Many thanks to all commenting on my painting. I still have to figure out exactly how to upload the image. You make me feel real welcome and I'm glad I joined in this forum. Sharing ideas and thoughts with artists like you all is a great experience.
