Oh good!!! I haven't been able to comment. Hiccup in the system. So nobody else was probably able either. I think it's a good start. The blocks are dark in the photo too. You could back a little bit out by tapping it with your knead able eraser if it bothers you. I like the trees. They look much like the photo. :yippee:  I commented in your gallery, but now that disappeared.  I'm glad you joined in!

I can see your drawing, but it won't expand. I did get it to work earlier, but couldn't post. Kind of like russian roulette!  :D   Sarah has pretty much covered what I tried to post anyway, so we'll leave it there.  ;D Now let's see if this puppy will post!  :eyesclosed:

Hi Val & all you other challengers.................. I haven't been able to post anything for a day or two and a lot of your pictures are coming up as blanks. Site is experiences more glitches as the new server gets settled I guess.
Hope all is settled so we can vote for the best landscape in the  April challenge and vote for our favorite May challenge O0 O0

The Poll for the May Challenges are open.   I don't foresee any 'challenges' for getting the April voting up and running. So..... get those entries going...still a few days left.  O0

Roxy, I see my post didn't get through before.  Your outhouse is unique.  I really like that you used your coloured pencils.   O0
How do you like your Strathmore Bristol vellum?  I bought a pad recently but haven't gotten around to using it yet.
Janice, you're drawing is excellent!  You have nice detail and a nice range of  shades.  Well done!

Well done, Janice, well done! Excellent, in fact!
Your outhouse is spot on and your trees look just like. . . well, trees!! Way to go Janice! O0 O0

Thank you Lillian!! When I realized that the point of the challenge was "Landscape" I automatically thought of coloured pencils! LOL!
I'm not sure about the Bristol Vellum. . . I'm still trying to decide what kind of paper I like best for graphite work and for CP work. For the CP's I find the pastel paper Mi-Tient (sp?) works the best, so far! Graphite is very difficult . . .for anyone who thinks it's just picking up any old pencil and making a drawing, have I got news for them!!!!! It's NOT that easy!! :2funny:
