:twothumbs:   Congratulations everybody great work!! I really admire those of you who can keep up with Dennis in these paint alongs!! I look down at my paper and then back up and by then he's got another colour and is onto another part of the painting. . . . speedy . . . whew !!!
I lost a lot of the lesson due to some buffering so am going to wait for the replay to do my Pretty Polly.
I live to draw and paint, it a good thing that I don't have to draw and paint to live!

Oh Karen and Patricia, These are great additions to the flock.  Love your wispy feathers (both of you) and you both managed to get that Viridian to really show.  Great brightness in both of these paintings.  Dennis will be happy :)

Karen I love your iridescence. Lynn your feathers really stand up!! Well done. Natalie--pretty, pretty background. JennyLynn you have such intense color. Patricia, an all around pretty boy! Had some interruptions today. I have a pretty hefty start on this guy. Thought I'd see if I could finish him up tonight. Great job paintalongers!!!

I just got home from my Church meetings, and WOW!  What a flock of wonderful Parrots!  I take it from the posts that Dennis moved right along today!  Good job all of you that managed to paint along.  I can hardly wait to see the replay.

I'll miss next week as well - same meetings I have to go to.  I really do miss the live class!  Then we have a break while Dennis is on vacation, so I'm going to be havinv real withdrawal pains!!

Here is mine. This was fun, Dennis. He really is a bit more orangey than he looks here.

GREAT work all of you
As already mentioned, lighten the top of the head a bit and then some have made the breast feathers a bit too orange - it is yellow with a TINGE of orange over it and a little bit more orange in the shadow areas. It is the yellow that adds the brightness to the bird. Well done O0
