 Hello All   :heeha:   Just a quick update on the ongoing saga of our move to Mexico.

We are in the final (hopefully) bout of getting our visas!  :fight:   It has been quite the experience, but with a bit of luck we should have the last piece of paper necessary to release our visas this coming week. Then the dreaded 6hr. bus ride back to the Rio to finish offloading PJ, load the truck, and we'll be on our way north!   :yippee:    Hoping to be into the house by first week of October.... THIS year!!!   :2funny:
So excited!!!   :D

Thanks so much all for the good wishes.  :flowers: :flowers: :flowers: :flowers:
Dennis, I haven't heard that song in ages! Quite right you are!!!  :2funny:    Just itching to break out all those lovely colours, I can hear them calling as we speak(?)! Have been scouring the city and not a sanded paper, wax, or spray in sight   :detective:     :faint:    May have to make another trip to New Orleans before Christmas......         :yippee:       :painting: :painting: :painting:
Nolan, it is always an adventure changing countries. But the land route seems to be much tougher! Never mind, I have my sombrero, a truck not quite as old as me,    a somewhat willing partner   :eyesclosed:   ..... one big A-ha and we'll be away!

Hi Val, I have just seen this message and my heart goes out to you with this big move which is never easy but you have the wherewithal to overcome every challenge.  However, wishing you and Lloyd a smooth transition and a happy, healthy and prosperous life in Mexico with lots of time to paint.
