Thank you all for your condolences.

I left Boston yesterday with a wind chill factor of -1 degrees F.  Was in the low 80's when I arrived in Honolulu.  So happy to be home.  Gotta defrost my bones.

I missed a lot of good artwork - you folks did all right while I was gone.

I'll be back in action tomorrow!

Hi Mea, I just wanted to check you are safe and let you know I have been thinking of you and hope you and your dear ones are not too affected by the volcano action and devastation happening at the moment.  :smitten:

Thank you for your concern, Lisa.  We need to send positive thoughts/prayers for them.

It is tragic for the folks on the Big Island.

I am 250 miles away on Oahu, so am safe unless an earthquake or tsunami is spawned.

Mea, good that you are safe. I can understand your concern so well since I experienced the same when I was in Bali.
Charles Baudelaire said „ One should always be drunk. That’s all that matters...but with what? With wine, with poetry, or with virtue, as you chose. But get drunk.“
I am drunk currently with sketching... 😄

Thanks, Gita. The thought of a volcanic eruption in one's own backyard is quite frightful.

Hi Mea, just been watching all the footage of the volcano on the night news on TV. It's very frightening to watch and then I  thought of you. So am so glad to hear you are safe. Prays go out to all those on the big island. Stay safe

Nolan, the thought of two volcanoes erupting just scares the daylights out of me after seeing Hawaii's big island being devastated by flowing lava on the news nightly. Move to Canada ... a wonderful country who care about their citizens. The best move I could ever have made only drawback is harsh Winters but we are all equipped for them.

Oh! Nolan, I can't even contemplate seeing them in the distance, knowing what they are capable of.  Patricia
