Visiting Aus, & NZ later this year, December & January, what would be a good watercolour palette limiting to 16.
Usual landscape palette for UK would typically be: Winsor and Newton artist quality:-
Aureolin, New Gamboge, Naples Yellow, Alizarin Crimzon, French Ultramarine, Prussian Blue, Cerulean Blue, Naples Yellow, Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna, Raw Umber, Burnt Umber, Sepia, Payne's Gray, Neutral Tint, Cadmium Red.

What would you leave out/replace for landscape painting in Aus & NZ

Not sure about the colour palette to bring, but depending on where you go (here in Oz anyway) you will have the choice between hot and dry and even hotter and even drier and hot and wet and even hotter and even wetter.

In the middle of summer, I wouldn't come down expecting to be painting lovely green meadows etc.

Batman.
I will have the chance to achieve perfection, when and only when I can remember the future.
