Bella, I am truly amazed at this .... it even resembles a stag!
I really do have to go back and do those lessons on mountains...and trees....

Val, congratulations! In my opinion, do not touch the belly, just a bit of darkening on the antlers. You did it!
I am still doing mine!

Doina, just don't ask how many layers there are on the stag!
He must have changed colour 6 or 7 times!
Thanks for your comment.....I couldn't get anymore colour out of the belly, so that means you must have been right!
Lynn I've got a way to go before I'm even close to being a wildlife artist. I thank you for your confidence in me.
I can't wait until I see yours Jani, it's coming...maybe not tomorrow...next month would be ok!
C. you are always such a boost to the self confidence. I have colours here that have no name!
Dennis....I think I must now send you that hat. I did promise you a new hat if you could make me paint beautiful pictures like you. Not quite as good as yours.....but I'm getting closer...at least within 2 eons....
Thanks so much Tania, I hope we'll be seeing some paintings from you soon?!

Val, excellent job on the stag! I also love your mountains in the background. They are very beautiful.

Thanks much Mark. I guess it's just me... I think I may have put a few too many 'snow' marks in, never know when to stop!
Live and learn.

I must say Jenny, this one had me going!
Underneath that brown pelt...lies the coat of many colours!
Still not sure how I ended up with that colour, but it worked ok. Sometimes I'm so lucky you'd think I was Irish!
Just waiting on the template for the next one.......

Jenny and Val. I`m really impressed with their painting along. I tried to keep up but only managed to destroy the image. Here I finally finished.

Harald, I love the "softness" of your painting. You did a fabulous job on the stag!
