patricia  :thankyou:   as regards the paints I use they are the same as you W&N cotman student. I also would like to try other paints but have got so many of the W&N I want to use them up first lol

You know what I love about all these paintings? Even though they are the same basic design, no two are exactly alike. Each person brings something different and wonderful to them. I love to see how each person handled their color mixing. It blows me away how different and yet the same they all appear. :) :) :)

I thank you all for your kindness and encouragement however undeserved.  :thankyou: I was so ready to pack it in more than a few times. I knew I should have put in the reflection for the drainpipe, and the windows on the RH side, it was just one of those days where things just didn't want to cooperate.  :eyesclosed: Too much water, not enough water, colours won't mix, paper keeps drying, vid won't play, sound won't work ....  :banghead:   So, there you have it. The good, the bad, and the ugly rolled all into one, warts and all!  :eek:

But I'm better now ... until the next one!  :faint:       ;D    :2funny:

I was not able to get on this site all day. Had my paints ready and my venice canal all set up. But no paint basket.  :'( :'( Oh well will try tomorrow. But just in case I will download the pdf.  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:
