Copy right question concering Da Vinci

Allright, so every now and then I just sit back and ponder on the subject of life and how well my life is going;  I reallized that I find Da vincis work very interesting and I would like to try to draw some of his work.  I hear that after a certain number of years a copy right expires, so does that mean I could post my Da vinci drawings on the forum (writing "original by Leonardo Da Vinci" first of course.) or would that be a copy right violation?

I have a similar question as Zac. For practice, I would like to try copying paintings of Pissarro. He died in 1903.

Is Pissarro "well enough dead," too?
