Thanks, but I really hate that dragonfly!  I will try to paint a dragonfly again, as you suggested, but I may use a different photo.   This one had sharp focus on the eyes and body, but I think the wings were in motion so the image of them was blurred.

No, don't use a different photo - otherwise there cannot be a comparison.
Trust me. It's not the "like or dislike" of a subject - it is all about practicing techniques. :flowers:

Never thought of a dragonfly having a "cute" face..but I guess to other dragonflies it would be important :2funny: ..Thanks Val. :flowers:
