Carol nice job.
Harald what a difference. The second one is great.

Finally got a start on this!
Have only been at it for
FOUR HOURS
, and managed to fight my way through to 52minutes of the video...
. Have lost the video again, so decided it's a good time to have a break and a tot of rum to soothe my frazzled nerves.
I really think I would have been smart if I had waited until next week and seen the mixing
greens
class!
Cheers, Val

Only 11+ hours over 2 days!!!!
I really am improving!
Gave up fighting with the video and took matters into my own hands...
gotta love that 'artistic license'!

Val, I certainly concur that you are improving
Excellent painting overall with good colour perspective and good
greens
Also a lovely sky and the pile of rocks.

I must say Dennis... this was a lesson and a half!
If I had walls, this brush would be great for the paste (wallpaper)
I think it will be great fun for use on larger, looser type paintings. Another hurdle to overcome...BIG paintings!
Oh the battle with those
greens
! You've no idea...really looking forward to next Sunday.
Thanks much for your perusal, now go put that foot up!
Must add...it is a nice sky (for a change) isn't it? Pulled out my trusty butterknife for the rocks.

Val,
I have no idea what a hake brush is, but you certainly have learned to use it well. Great painting.
Definitely up to your high standards.

Nina, I have all of you who have posted your painting before me to thank. When the video fails, I study each one and see what is where and hopefully how you did it. So thanks for that.
When all else fails... that's when artistic license takes over!
The rocks just wouldn't look right...so painted them over and out came my trusty butterknife.... voila! Rocks!

Susan. I think I've set a new record for time talking to myself!
Mea, here is my hake brush.... I've got a long way to go to using it well.

Denise...I guess you could say it's a whole different level!

Jani! The trees....how many colours...how many layers?
No idea!
But yes, I am very well pleased with my trees. The rocks were a move of desperation...I'm like Zorro with a butterknife!
