In order for me to easily find and answer queries about this Lesson I will appreciate it if everyone will keep these  to this specific Lesson Posting only. This will also be of benefit to you as well in the future.  Thanks

NOTE:
This class is not really intended as a paint-a-long in oils, but you may do so if you wish.
In this class we will not necessarily be finishing a painting (maybe) as most of the time will be in various small demonstrations of the differences between the two mediums.

Hopefully the watercolourists will appreciate the oil painters and also that the oil painters will appreciate the watercolourists  :flowers:

My biggest wish is that you will be brave enough to try the medium you have always been afraid to start. ;)

         Thank you Dennis!  This sounds so very exciting!!  Did a little of acrylics...(have no room in my place for canvas')....and it's wonderful.  I'm really looking forward to this class.
Again.....THANK YOU.                 (but...I really love my watercolors!)

I am confused again  :idiot2:  no surprise there.  Is this class for watercolors or for oils

From the description it sounds like oils, I would love that, but the info on the paying side says watercolors, I don't do them.

IF it is OILS I would like to take the class, but I don't want to pay for a watercolors class that I can't use.   :-\     :help:

I think Dennis has designed the class for both watercolor and oils so that everyone can work in both mediums, if they so choose. I'm a watercolorist mostly, but I am still taking the class, even though the demonstration will be in oils, so that I can learn to be a more versatile artist. Nothing like stepping outside the box and expanding my horizons! It keeps those neurons in the brain alive and kicking!!  (And I need every one of my neurons to be alert--trust me!!) ;D  Plus, it brings all of us together as artists here on this forum. We can better appreciate each other's mediums and subsequent works created from them the more we know about them.   Happy  :painting: !
Cheers,
Jani

This may look a little crude but I was making dinner (pork low mien) and minding a two-year old  :help:. This is watercolor. I'll mess with the oils when I'm not minding anyone.  :painting:
All in all I don't think it is too bad!!

MSWCrane in this class Dennis used a watercolour painting (class was done last year) and show those who work in other mediums how to use the exact same classes that is presented in watercolours but only do it in oils, so basically how we can adapt it to paint the same subject in in oils/acrylics.

So if you are one who paint in oils then this is an essential class and this gives you the opportunity to do more classes from the watercolours but only do it in oils... hope I make sense  ;)

Maryna, Yes it makes sense, and I do  :painting: only in Oils, so far.  I will have to do the class once it is available (not live), hopefully soon.  I didn't feel I was ready for a 'Live' class yet :-\    Looking forward to doing this class for sure   :D

All live classes become replays afterwards, just give Nolan a day or two to upload it  ;)
