O0  Very neat Shirley.  Gosh, there are so many possibilities with mixing of green, it boggles one's mind.  Not that that is difficult as one gets up in age!!!

Good job Shirley.  O0 I like the greens you created with the gamboge and Q. gold. Might have to see about some of those....

I am way behind, but here is my attempt at a chart.  I used Cerulean Blue with my yellows and oranges. (I got one orange out of order and one of my rows got a little crooked, which is driving me crazy!  :idiot2: ) I don't know if I am putting the color on too thick. Maybe they should be watered down more! Not real happy with it, but I have redone it three times!!! Guess I will move on to other colors......or maayybbee... do it again!(and get my line straight! :D

I wouldn't worry about a line being a bit crooked C.  The chart looks good.

I think it's an impressive looking chart.  Your colors look so vivid.

Thanks, Val and Mea. That was just one color of blue.  I think I have about 4 more. Then on to all the other color combos that can be made with my colors. I figure by the end of all these color charts, I will know how to do one right, but too tired to do it again, so they will just have to do! :)

Wasn't....and isn't....this a great lesson!!  This was so much fun, and, I too, need to mix some more colors. Good job, Chris, and good luck with the rest of your colors.  I want to 'mix' some other colors, too, just to see what comes up.  On the green charts, it's easier to find than on the color wheel. Today, the color was mixed just a little different than last time, so you end up with great graduations of colors.
This is really fun!!

Christina, to me your charts look wonderful!

I am wondering however, why you made 7 mixes when all other charts I have seen in this post have 6 mixes?      Sorry, this is my eye for details, just curious.   ;)

Sue, thank you. Actually, the 7 squares was an accident. I started drawing my charts and measured incorrectly, so it came out to 9 squares.(two for the original colors and 7 to make mixes.) Then I couldn't stand the thought of having the rest of the rows different, :-\   so I did them all the same. That means all my charts will have 7 from here on out, too!!! :D

That was fun to do, and i noticed that if I have no burnt sienna I can use light cadmium red and just a touch of viridian, and light cadmium orange with a touch of viridian gives you a yellow ochre.  At least close enough.
Here is my chart.
