Great job, Sharon and Doina! This was my favorite lesson, too - I loved the way the pebbles could be abstract , realistic or just fun and the background was so forgiving. I think it was a great lesson and I hope they have another one like this someday.

This looks brill Doina
I like that dimpled effect in the sand, and the shadows are great. Well done.

When I just got back to FL after 6 weeks up in the mountains of NC, I found an unfinished watercolor taped to my board
'ROCKS'.
I guess I will have to get working on finishing it...
right after I finish my Christmas Card painting that I am working on, a watercolor of a 'Cardinal with Holly...
Then, onto the ROCKS!

I finished this a 'ways back', but didn't get it photographed til today.
I centered the picture wrong on my paper, so I had to add another rock! This was fun. My orange didn't stay very dark, but it still looks okay.

Bella,
You did an excellent job on the little stones. This was my favorite of all the lessons I did with Dennis. It was just so different from the others - challenging, though.
I actually like the muted background better than the bright orange -- makes it look like beach sand.
Nice work.

Retta, your pebbles are excellent. I love the brilliant colours and like Mea said, I enjoyed it immensely too. Patricia

Retta
, wasn't this fun! You did so well on it and I like your original "extra" pebble, it goes well with the others. The background color looks good, makes me assume it's sand
Bhavna,
nice job on the pebbles! pretty, natural details and lovely sunlit areas
