Another excellent effort! It just screams autumn, my favorite season. I'd hang that on my wall with great pleasure.

:thankyou: Germa :thankyou: lynn :thankyou: Fencepost.

As I said, they look even more striking after the gloss and varnish layers.

:thankyou: jennylynn,  :thankyou: Patricia and hi everyone ,

Good, productive weekend this weekend.

I finished this one watching the Bathurst 1000 (for non-Aussies, it's the biggest Aussie car race) this afternoon.

The Nature Series no 4 - original Acrylics on canvas 508mm x762mm. Shame the purple doesn't quite come out as nicely as the actually painting.

My little niece reckons it is fireworks!

As per usual, let me know what you think.

Batman,

Colorful, for sure.  Sort of like a meteor hurling through space.

I love the way you use color - so bold and daring.

:thankyou:  mea.

I guess a meteor is a little closer to nature than fireworks!
That's part of the beauty of abstracted art - it can be whatever you want it to be!  :2funny:

Batman, what more can I say but that I love, love, love your "Nature Series".  The colours are vibrant and gives one a sense of happiness.  I love bright colours, the brighter the better and as I said in a previous post, you are doing such great work, keep it up and keep posting.  Patricia

 :thankyou: :thankyou: Fencepost and Patricia.

It's a good way to spend my time in my lonely old house, but there is another motive - to see if I can build a portfolio worthwhile approaching galleries with.

Hey, maybe over time I can raise enough cash to give it a lick of paint too. Or pay someone else to while I stay out of the sun and do a little more indoors   :painting:

Ahhhh....this is great!!!  I love the strong earth colors....soft, but very expressive. You are on to something, there, Batman, and I wish you much return on your hard work.
They are beautiful.

 :thankyou: Nolan.

And here is my latest everyone. Acrylics 762mm x 762mm (30in x 30in) canvas.

A bye at indoor soccer allowed me to get stuck into this one last night instead.
