Thanks much Patricia  :flowers: , Susan  :flowers: , Doina  :flowers: , Jill  :flowers: , and Judie  :flowers: !  Had me scratching my head for a bit, but I think overall it's alright.  :) Doina, I think it's the ink outline that makes everything look 'crisp'.

Thanks much Dennis, I'm fast learning the end result is what counts,  'cause it sure looks nasty on the way there!  :2funny:

I'm glad nobody noticed my tower of building blocks  ;D it's a bit wobbly looking...either that or there's a hoola-hoop competition going on up there!  :2funny:

Thanks Nina....I really had my doubts for a while. Couldn't figure out how I was going to cut the tape if I couldn't see the lines!  ;D That black ink shows through just about anything....and I have a shirt that backs me up!  :2funny:

Bella!  Wadda ya mean it 'still looks like Aukland?'  :attacked: I knew it looked a bit short for the CN Tower!!! :2funny:

   Question - is the PDF for both Part 1 and Part 2?  It says "PDF to Follow" when I go to the TV Class Replay.  I'm just catching up after being "drugged" for the last few weeks due to my car accident.

These skylines all look great!  I don't know when I'll feel confident to try this lesson!  But - "one of these days"!!

Thanks much Tania, this really was a fun lesson. I loved all the detailing.

Sorry Pat, I haven't downloaded the pdf as yet. Has anyone else?

Sorry Val, but no one was able to download the PDF for Part 2.
Why? Because yours truly simply forgot to upload it for downloading - simple as that :heeha:   \
Anyway, you may download it now - sent an email to all participants :flowers:

Sharon I think that is pretty cool, that the Rotary wants you to do that. You painting looks fine to me. I like the colors.  O0 O0 O0

Wow, Sharon, what a great honor to be asked to paint the Sacramento skyline for the centennial.

Your Auckland skyline certainly looks like good training.

I'm sure your Sacramento skyline will come out as good as this one.

Excellent Sharon      You've made great use of your colour values and given the painting nice dimension. Light against dark, and good atmospheric perspective.

Don't worry about a thing, you've got this... you'll ace the Sacramento skyline.  O0   Just take your time, it will be great. You'll see, you're better than you think.

Thanks, Val - but following Dennis as he paints is one thing, doing it on my own is completely another! I'm about 1/3 along the Sac scene - I'll post where I'm at so far. I have no idea if I'm doing this right so be sure to let me know your thoughts!
Cheers,
Sharon
