Post your drawing for Octoberr Challenge here.

1/ Post only one drawing per person. Post only your finished drawing. If you need help, post it in the encourager section.

2/ Do your best to keep your entry as close as possible to the original Challenge photo. Please DO NOT make additions or changes to the subject. We try to maintain a fair and equal field for all entries from beginner to advanced.
Feel free to use the subject photos in your own creation BUT place it in the Encourager section, NOT in the challenge. Thank you for your ongoing support of these challenges.

3/ Graphite or Coloured Pencil (lead) may be used.

4/ When posting your entry, please list type(s) of pencil used. Not mandatory, but appreciated as it may help someone with less experience.  :thankyou:

5/ HAVE FUN !!!  :yippee:

It looks like a creepy sea animal and the man who is holding it has hurt his thumb badly a while ago. ;)

:2funny: Ok Germa, this is a Cocoa Pod. This is what all those lovely chocolates are made from.  :licklips: If you dipped your finger into the creamy white goo .... it tastes of the most heavenly chocolate you'll ever taste!  :cloud9:

Oh boy.
Now, I feel like a city child that discovers that milk isn't made in a factory but comes from cows:
"Are those other two things for chocolate milk mammy?'

:2funny: Germa, you are a hoot!  I think this is a good subject, lots of shadows and subtle shadings. Sharpen up those pencils!

If this tastes as good as you say it does, I'd rather eat it than draw it.

Wow, this will be a touch one.

As the South Africans would say......  "Eish!!!!"

This is going to be quite a challenge for someone who hasn't had a drawing lesson!

That's okay, Germa! Durian is the first thing that came to my mind until Val said it's something we all love.  :)
