Nice painting Brian!  My guess is that the secrets are either hidden under the bushes or in the lighthouse somewhere:)

I'll make this a cliff hanger! When the voting is done I'll reveal the problems I created and the way I resolved them.
The painting still contains a major error but it won't be obvious until I reveal all!
I'm enjoying teasing everyone.

Yay! I got it up!  I was so worried that we would be on New Zealand time and it would already be tomorrow and I missed the deadline.  This was such a nice subject to paint that I didn't mind the time it took.

Has everyone seen the video tour of this lighthouse? It's all pink inside, like someone took the red paint and the white paint and mixed it together.

My challenge submission, photographed correctly with the proper colors and light - nothing was changed. This is the way it appears in person, or as close as possible. (Note to self: wait for the sun, there is no substitute)

Thank you, everyone, I really appreciate it.

All the paintings are so gorgeous, I really wanted to give this challenge my best shot.  It was fun, and good to work under a deadline, too.

Thank you, Val for all your hard work mediating the Paint Basket blog - it must be difficult!
