So glad Dennis included this in the watercolor series before he switched to pastels. What a wonderful challenge this was to paint - an older person's creases are definitely more difficult to do than a baby's!

Thanks, Val - there's so much character in this gentleman's face - it was amazing to see the paper transform from a traced figure into a true portrait...glad I wasn't doing this as a paint-a-long - this took a lot of stop and go for me!

Great job Ilinca. This is your 3rd painting? Wow!! My only comment is the for the eyes. The white part is too white. Look at the picture, it has some reddish/ orange in them; like little blood vessels  :clap: :clap: :clap:
