In order for me to easily find and answer queries about this Lesson I will appreciate it if everyone will keep these to this specific Lesson Posting only. This will also be of benefit to you as well in the future.  Thanks

PS      A small 30 piece soft pastel set will be more than adequate for this lesson.

It's still surprising what you can do with only 12 ;)

Yes Val, I do believe that Ottawa is decidedly colder than what we are here.  Anyway, it is just for the weekend so it shouldn't be too bad.  Patricia

Major internet problems here today. It was a real fight to get the challenges closed and winner(s) posted.
I sure hope I'll be able to get the class today. I tried playing a drawing video but it packed in after 17 seconds.  :'(

Dennis, I have signed up for today's class, but do not have any pastels, can I do the entire picture in watercolors, will you please give the colors to use for them?

Thanks Dennis--I learned so much about technique!!! Unfortunately my wc paper has almost no tooth so I just did straight pastel today on pastel paper.  I think the wc underpainting produced a prettier result.  So this is with my new old grummies and blocked in with hard pastels rather than wc.  Merry Christmas everyone!
