Ok .... here's the first installment of landscape drawing. It was funny to watch as I also have a tendency to talk to myself and the universe in general while I draw and paint. We had quite the conversation Dennis ....
I wish to report to Nolan that unlike the responses you get from Woody, mine tend to remain silent other than to express their distaste that I do make reference to..... Woody wouldn't have done that..... henceforth I shall be sending my brushes AND pencils to you for retraining.
Get out your armour, they will put up a fight!
Right then, here we go.....

The first one was interesting.... see what I mean...Woody would not have done this.
Second, it wasn't my fault!
Silly wood sticks just wouldn't stop! Just kept going loop-de-loop maniacally!!!
Very frightening. Be forewarned.... there be spirits in the wood!

Great scribbles Val! Don't worry about Woody, he's just stubborn like all of them...!Look what a nice rendition is the second drawing. Doina

Thanks much Doina.
My poor big tree.... if it had kept going much further it would have fallen over!
It is a tendency I must get control of. I have my outline, all is going along nicely...then this maniac
takes over and I just can't stop!
I sometimes have the same happen when painting. Things just keep getting bigger, and
bigger
, and
BIGGER
, and .....

FANTASTIC VAL!!!
Gosh, I had to enlarge your "scribbles" to have a closer look and your shading is just wonderful. Good job and it looks like it could be very interesting . Patricia
